Colour: by me ... and it needs me more than 5hours. I think that I managed the colours very well. This time I experienced with the skin-tone ... and I have to say, that I like it; I like the hair as well and the background ... yeah - a lot of colours, it has something special like little glowworms fly around her ... or is it her special aura?
*laugh* it is funnier to colour other people's outlines than the own ones!

Female heroine

People - here it is...my second digital painted Picture with the PaintingTool SAI.

I took the Acrylic-effect for this painting, first I thougt that this is a wonderful one, but afterwards I don't like the picture any more ... and it took me a lot of hours to view the picture like that (8hours or even more...)
There are no special details in that picture. Even the female looks a little bit pale, I had got to give her a little bit more shadow and depth. (what shells...)

The idea was original for a 2D convention in summer in Austria, but therefore - I do not like that, so I decided to post it on my Blog.
I have to improve myself in digital painting ... it is an other medium to paint digital - I know how the Acrylics/Aquarell react on real paper, but not digital! So I have to learn, learn, learn!

Mio from K-On!

This is a Fanart from K-On!, on the picture there is Mio (she plays the bass in the band).
I really want to improve the pictures which I made with copics ... here is again a new one. It feels like painting with the copics...like oil or something. And I think that the lighter colours will suffer much, because I take the darker colour and then I blend it with the lighter copic-marker X) OMG ... Sooner or later the light colours would be dark and dirty (so think I).

Mascot Challenge 2010

This is a mascot for the AniNite 2010 in Vienna.

I painted the little enchanting djinn with copic markers ... but there are a lots of others, who painted so nice mascots for the challenge!

XXXHolic (CLAMP) Yuko

I painted that Fanart with aquarell-pencils, is it the "cheat-method" because I did not use the watercolours, just the pencils? I think that this is an easy way and you can colour the painting much nicer than with the usual aquarelll-colours.

RG Veda_yellow (CLAMP)

This is again a Fanfiction from RG Veda. I painted that picture with water-colours, the outlines are made with a 0.7Copic Multiliner.
First I wanted to make the skin with Copics, I read that the Copics on special paper like for water-colours, must look very nice, but the paper takes up too much ink from the copics, so I decided not to do it.

The outlines are made with ink and the clothes are made from water colours.

Alice and Flower-girl

This is Alice (I think that nearly everybody knows Alice in Wonderland). The outlines are made with ink *omg* and the other stuff made with water colors.

RG Veda (CLAMP)

This time I took a picture from Clamp, from the Manga-Comic RG Veda (I am a fan of Clamp - I like their drawing style sooo much ^_^ )



This picture was also drawn with Copic Markers ... in real the skin looks a little bit red (like a little indian *laugh*) ... but on the photograph it looks really okay (I think).
I am not perfect in drawing with CopicMarkers, every time I look up into the internet how to draw better with them ... I hope that one day I will be better in that.
